Dedicated to Lord Hanuman (Anjaneya Swamy), Japali Anjaneya Swamy shrine is a calm and revered shrine situated in Tirumala’s thick woodlands. The temple is roughly 3 miles from Tirumala, and getting there involves hiking through beautiful, serene environs. It is a very sacred place for believers since, according to mythology, Lord Hanuman meditated here during the Ramayana period.
Because of its location amidst beautiful greenery, the temple serves as both a center of religious significance and a haven for nature lovers. Near the temple, there is a sacred pond called “Japali Teertham” that is thought to have therapeutic qualities.
Because Lord Hanuman is revered as the deity of power and devotion, this temple draws a lot of followers, particularly on Saturdays and during Hanuman Jayanti. It offers a peaceful spiritual experience away from Tirumala’s main temple’s throng.
