Kotte Sai Prasad was sworn in as the new Chairman of the Srikalahasti Devasthanam Trust Board on Sunday, alongside 15 board members, in a ceremony conducted within the temple premises under the supervision of Executive Officer T. Bapi Reddy. Prior to the oath-taking, Sai Prasad made a grand arrival at the Devasthanam in a massive rally from Bhaskarpet, accompanied by a large gathering of supporters and devotees, marking a vibrant start to his new role.
Minister for Civil Supplies Nadendla Manohar attended the ceremony as the chief guest and congratulated the newly appointed Chairman and Trust Board members. He stated that the coalition government is working with a spirit of national service, inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s message of mutual respect and collective effort.
The minister emphasized the state government’s commitment to developing temples across Andhra Pradesh and improving facilities for devotees. “The coalition government is moving forward with a renewed vision to enhance pilgrim amenities and to uphold Sanatana Dharma. Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan is consistently striving toward this cause,” he said. Manohar also praised Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan for their continuous efforts in advancing the state’s overall development. He encouraged the new Trust Board to develop Srikalahasti Devasthanam on par with the standards and facilities offered to devotees at Tirumala, noting that improved amenities would not only support temple growth but also create employment opportunities.
Speaking at the event, Chairman Kotte Sai Prasad pledged to work dedicatedly for the progress of the Srikalahasti temple. He announced plans to celebrate the upcoming Maha Shivaratri festival on a grand scale and to introduce new initiatives aimed at enhancing the temple’s development.
Dignitaries present at the ceremony included Tirupati MLA Arani Srinivasulu, Srikalahasti MLA Bojjala Sudheer Reddy, BJP State Vice President Kola Anand, and several other notable leaders.
