Rahu Ketu Pooja: In Hindu Astrology, Rahu and Ketu signify the two locations where the paths of the Sun and Moon intersect. They traverse the celestial ring. The illusion of the Sun being gulped is created by the way obscurations occur when the Sun and Moon are at one of these centers.

One of the nine astronomical bodies that are well-known in Indian scriptures is Rahui. Rahu is not like the other eight bodies; it is a shadow creature. It is the one that is said to be the king of meteors and is also responsible for eclipses. Rahu is a symbol for the moon’s ascent inside its precessional orbit around the earth.

Some Hindu mythological stories claim that Ketu is a member of Jaimini Gotra. Rahu, however, is a native of Paiteenasa Gotra. Therefore, although being two separate entities with unique properties, they are also components of the same body. Most people refer to Ketu as a “shadow” planet. It is said to have a profound effect on both our lives and the entirety of creation.

Ketu is neutral, and Rahu is feminine. As a relational significator, Rahu represents information from beyond the material world, whereas Ketu is the karaka, or significator of Moksha, or the ultimate emancipation. Ketu denotes fatherly grandparents, whereas Rahu is in charge of maternal grandparents.
